what is traditional media?

It is any form of mass communication that is used to communicate with larger audience which was available before the start of digital media. this includes television, radio, newspaper and books.

Advantages of Traditional Media


  1. Traditional media do not require large capital investment.
  2. Traditional media can be used on live events, where they can communicate with their audience and create a great opportunity for interaction
  3. Traditional media can be put with other media platforms like television and radio.
  4.  There is no need on expensive communication skills responsible to break down.


Disadvantages of traditional media
  1. Harder to target audience. Newer technology allows marketers to more surely about target customers based on the amount of personal information that they can access through websites.
  2. Less information,the message in thee traditional media is limited compared to the digital media.
  3. Traditional media doesn't allow you to respond to changes in the marketplace in a short space of time.
